Residence Life alters housing options

Due to the increased size of the class of 2015, Residence Life is making changes to building assignments. Beginning with the 2011-2012 academic year, Jefferson Hall will be converted from mostly upperclassmen housing to all freshman housing. Brown Hall, conversely, will be switching from freshman housing to upperclassmen housing, with the 3rd floor identified as substance free. While Taliaferro Hall is remaining a predominantly freshman living space, the tower is available to upperclassmen as an 8 person block. Because of these changes, residents of Taliaferro Hall tower, Brown Hall, and Jefferson Hall are ineligible for same-room sign up. The last day to pay the $200 housing deposit was Friday, February 18th.
